You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under this clause. You agree not to use the services in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in spamming or sending unsolicited bulk emails, Hosting illegal content, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Running scripts or processes that negatively impact server performance
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Hosting adult content, gambling sites, or other prohibited materials
  • Using the service for cryptocurrency mining without explicit permission.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except as provided in our refund policy. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new hosting accounts. Domain registration fees are non-refundable. Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of services. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new web hosting purchases. If you are not satisfied with our hosting services, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. This guarantee does not apply to domain registrations, SSL certificates, or renewal fees. To request a refund, please contact our support team via Live Chat or submit a Support Ticket.

7. Data and Backups

While we perform regular backups of our servers, you are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of your data. HostSalt is not responsible for any loss of data or content. We strongly recommend that you maintain local backups of all your files and databases.

8. Service Level Agreement

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our hosting services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for any downtime, including scheduled maintenance, network issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may temporarily affect service availability.

9. Resource Usage

All hosting plans come with specified resource allocations. You agree to use resources in accordance with your plan limits. Excessive resource usage that affects server performance may result in account suspension or the requirement to upgrade to a higher plan. We reserve the right to monitor resource usage and take action as necessary.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the HostSalt website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of HostSalt or Bold & Digital and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

12. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload to our servers. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to store, backup, and display your content as necessary to provide our services. You are solely responsible for the content you host and must ensure you have the right to use and distribute such content.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. HostSalt reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for violation of these terms, non-payment, or any activity that may harm our services or other users. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to retrieve your data before it is permanently deleted.

14. Limitation of Liability

HostSalt and Bold & Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HostSalt, Bold & Digital, and our affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of content available through our services.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through our website. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
